Born August 17, 1917 in Kiev, Ukraine, Harry Pratter was a professor of law at Indiana University Bloomington. In this interview he discusses his childhood, education, and arrival at Indiana University. He recounts student protests and riots on campus in the late 60s and early 70s, and discusses the impact of McCarthyism on the university. John W. Snyder was a professor of history at Indiana University starting in 1954.
